The ongoing bickering between Republican presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Donald Trump took a new turn last week when Donald Trump re-tweeted an unflattering photo of Ted Cruz's wife, Heidi, next to Trump's own wife, Melania.

During a CNN town hall event on Tuesday night (local time), journalist Anderson Cooper confronted Trump about the tweet, to which he replied: "I didn't start it."

Cooper, obviously not delighted with this answer, retorted: '€œSir, with all due respect, that'€™s the argument of a 5-year-old. The argument of a 5-year-old is 'He started it'.'€

In a video posted on YouTube, Trump kept on insisting that it was Cruz who started the fight.

Various media outlets have reported Trump's sexist stand on women. The Huffington Post even went so far as to compile a list of all the things the presidential hopeful has said to women, which includes his feud with Fox News Channel's anchor Megyn Kelly and him insulting just about everyone, from celebrities to female reporters.
