Catch me if you can: Rear lamps with a tapering corner design add to the sportive look.

In its 10th generation, the Honda Civic takes on grandeur as it evolves into the all-new Honda Civic Turbo.

The Honda Civic introduced by PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) in early April at the Indonesia International Motor Show in Jakarta has undergone a facelift in its 10th generation to be reintroduced as the all-new Honda Civic Turbo.

The latest model is based on three concepts: charismatic, soulful and comfortable.

The charisma of the car reflects in its premium exterior and interior design.

It is soulful, because it is equipped with a more powerful engine and platform that give it a sportier feel.

Meanwhile, the comfort the model offers is supported by its various features and sophisticated technology to facilitate the driver.

Honda’s exterior LED lamps are not mere decoration. The headlights with Daytime Running LEDs are integrated with a luxurious and sporty grille, which at the same time enhances safety with additional fog lamps and side position lamps.

Rear Combi lamps with a tapering corner design add to the vehicle’s sportiness, while LED light bars augment security by signaling when the driver puts on the brakes.

The use of 17-inch wheel rims of a racing design and light material further boost the driving performance.

The car’s interior provides comfort and convenience.

Premium design: Honda prioritizes comfort in the new model’s interior.

The keyless entry device is easy to grip or put into the pocket. The driver needs only to push the start button, without using any ignition key. Applying the “Daring ACE Design” interior concept, the Honda Civic Turbo is equipped with full-leather seats, the same material is used for the steering wheel and shift knob.

Behind the steering wheel, a meter cluster with its multi-information display provides important information while driving.

All controls can be found on the steering wheel, including that of the paddle shift for speed transfer. Cruise control makes for an exciting experience on the freeway, with no need to use the gas pedal as the steering wheel assumes control.

High-tech features add to the new Honda Civic Turbo’s driving comfort.

The middle console has a sophisticated 7-inch touch screen audio-video set powered by an Android operating system that allows for easy WiFi connection with smartphones.

The sound system can also be controled through the switches on the steering wheel.

This feature also doubles as a hands-free telephone. Other highlights include remote engine start, a rain-sensing windshield wiper and a rear parking camera.

The all new Honda Civic Turbo employs a 1.5L VTEC Turbo engine with Earth Dreams technology. This engine produces a big increase in power and torsion with a maximum power of 173 PS at 5,500 rpm and maximum torsion of 22.4 kgm at 1,700–5,500 rpm, the highest in its class.

The CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) with the Earth Dreams technology is very gentle, despite the 7-speed paddle shift, and can balance engine power and fuel consumption, which remains efficient by EURO 4 standards.

For greater safety, the Honda Civic Turbo is also equipped with an electric parking brake and auto brake hold devices, which are very helpful when the car has to stop on an ascending road. The car’s features for safety also include hill start assist and vehicle stability assist systems. For its braking system, the car has the Anti-lock Braking System and Electronic Brake-force Distribution as well as the brake override system and emergency stop signal.

This automobile is worth its on-the-road price of Rp 475 million (US$35,795) for young people fond of driving in grand style.
