The Health Ministry named on Thursday 14 health facilities and eight midwife clinics that allegedly administered fake vaccines.
During a hearing with House of Representatives Commission IX overseeing health and manpower, Health Minister Nila F. Moeloek disclosed the results of the National Police's Criminal Investigation Division's (Bareskrim) investigation detailing the distributors of the fake vaccines, health facilities that administered them and the names of individuals exposed to them.
"We have agreed with the Bareskrim to make public the data on 14 health facilities [that used fake vaccines]," Nila said on Thursday.
The 14 health facilities are:

3. Sentral Medika, JI.Industri Pasir Gombong
4. RSIA Puspa Husada
5. Karya Medika
6. Kartika Husada Jl. MT Haryono Setu Bekasi
7. Sayang Bunda Pondok Ungu Bekasi
8. Multazam Bekasi
9. Permata Bekasi
10. RSIA GIZAR Villa Mutiara Cikarang
11. Harapan Bunda Keramat Jati, East Jakarta
12. Elisabeth Narogong Bekasi
13. Hosana Lippo Cikarang
14. Hosana Bekasi Jl. Pramuka
Meanwhile, the midwife clinics are those operated by:
1. Lia, Pelaukan Sukatani complex, Cikarang
2. Lilik, Graha Melati complex, Tambun
3. Tabina Clinic, Sukatani, Sukaraya, Cikarang
4. Iis, Seroja Complex, Bekasi
5. Dafa Clinic, DR Baginda, Cikarang
6. Mega Puri Cikarang Makmur Sukaresmi, Cikarang
7. Elly Novita, Ciracas, East Jakarta
8. Dr. Ade Kurniawan Clinic, Rawa Belong, Slipi, West Jakarta
Based on the investigation, most of the health facilities and midwife clinics were supplied the fake vaccines by Juanda CV Azka Medika. One hospital, Harapan Bunda hospital, got them from M. Syahrul. Midwife Elly Novita received the fake vaccines from Kartawinata, alias Ryan, and the Ade Kurniawan health clinic from Seno, the data from the Health Ministry during the hearing revealed.
Most of the suspects distributed their fake vaccines by submitting a price list to the midwives and the procurement departments of health facilities, which was later authorized by the directors in the respective health facilities, Nila said in the explanation.
Detective chief Com. Gen. Ari Dono Sukmanto said the police got the identities of the health facilities and midwife clinics that purchased fake vaccines from the suspects, adding the investigation into the case was still ongoing. (ary)
