overnor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama is prohibiting civil servants from playing Pokemon Go while working and the Jakarta administration would cut the allowances of anyone who does.
“If we caught any civil servants who played the games, we will cut their allowances. It will be easy to know any employees who play the game because the game will require them to wander around,” Ahok said at City Hall on Friday.
Employees are not only prohibited from playing Pokemon Go, but also any other games while they are on duty.
Meanwhile, because of apparent security reasons, Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister Yuddy Chrisnandi issued a circular that prohibited all people who work for the government to play Pokemon Go while at the office.
Previously, the State Palace, the National Police and the Indonesian Military (TNI) also banned their personnel from playing the game within the institutions. (bbn)
