JAKARTA: Most people need a lot of time to decide whether they want to get married or not. Presenter Rey Utami, however, only needed one week to make her decision.
Rey told tribunnews.com that she decided to marry her husband, Pablo Putra Benua, not long after the two connected via dating application Tinder.
Once connected, Rey said they decided to meet up on the same day.
“After our first meet up, he bought me a Honda HRV car on the second day. On the third day, he bought me a Rp 4 billion [US$307,988] watch,” Rey said.
“On the fourth day, he asked me to marry him. He met my parents on the fifth day, we made preparations for our wedding on the sixth day and on the seventh day, we got married,” she added. — JP
