“The body of the Malaysian national by the name of Ng Yin Teck, who died in a hot spring in Mount Rinjani has been sent to Bali,” said NTB Bhayangkara Police Hospital spokesman Adj. Comr. I Wayan Redana in Mataram on Saturday.
Wayan added that based on the autopsy results, no sign of physical violence had been found on the body, so it could not be concluded that he had died as a result of physical violence.
According to him, Ng Yin Teck’s body was sent to Bali after coordination with the West Lombok Police. The body will be handed over to the Consulate General of Malaysia in Bali and later handed to his family in Malaysia. Ng Yin Teck was reported dead around Aiq Kalak Lake, near the hiking track of Mount Rinjani, Lombok, on Nov. 8
