Navy airplane has reportedly crashed while landing at the Leo Wattimena Air Force base in Morotai, North Maluku, at 10 a.m. local time on Sunday.

News portal tribunnews.com said the C-212 plane was piloted by First Lt. Wibisar and had departed from Sam Ratulangi Air Force base in Manado, North Sulawesi, with five crew members and nine passengers.

The team was flying to Morotai to participate in a Navy training event. (evi)
