akarta Police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono said it was suspected that the killing of six people in a house in Pulo Mas, East Jakarta, occurred on Monday afternoon at about 3 p.m.
“The perpetrator entered the house on Monday afternoon but the crime was discovered only on Tuesday morning when a victim’s friend went to the house,” he said as quoted by kompas.com.
Argo said Sheila Putri, a friend of 16-year-old Diona Arika, a victim, had been trying to contact Diona since Monday afternoon because they had made an appointment to go out together on Monday. Sheila decided to check on Diona the following day.

“This morning she came here but no one answered and the door was not locked, so she entered the house and heard moaning coming from the bathroom. She was afraid, so she ran outside to the security guards,” said Argo.
The security guards called the police, who accompanied Sheila to check inside the house. “It turns out the victim was inside the bathroom, filled with 11 people,” he said.
Five were found dead and six were taken to the hospital, but one later died. Media reports said Dodi’s wife was not among the victims. (evi)
