he National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Central Java together with the Customs and Excise Office and state-owned postal company have thwarted the smuggling of various kinds of drugs from Germany aimed to be consumed at New Year’s Eve celebrations.
“First, we became suspicious of a package from Germany. The package was said to be a board game, but it actually contained various kinds of drugs,” BNN Central Java chief Brig. Gen. Tri Agus Heru Prasetyo said in Semarang on Wednesday.
Agus said the drugs inside included cocaine, ecstasy pills, Methylene Dioxy Methamphetamine (MDMA), Ketamine and Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD).

He said BNN officers arrested a suspect who tried to take the package.
The suspect told the police that he was not alone in smuggling the drugs.
Police raided the suggested individuals' houses, finding 1,000 ecstasy pills from Germany, 2.8 grams of Cocaine and 82.67 grams of Ketamine from the Netherlands and 1,624 LSD sheets and 138.74 grams of MDMA from Poland.(jun)
