A

man identified as Davidson Tantono died on Friday afternoon in Cengkareng, West Jakarta, after two robbers shot him in the head and fled with his bag carrying of Rp 350 million (US$26,319.7).

It was reported that the 31-year old had just withdrawn the cash from a bank in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, before he drove his car to a gas station in Cengkareng.

When he got out of the car to check its tires at the gas station, the perpetrators seized his bag, which had been place near the steering wheel.

Davidson struggled to get his bag back before one of the suspects shot him in the head and fled the scene.

The victim died at the scene.

The suspects reportedly wore white shirts and jeans and rode a motorcycle.

The police are examining the crime scene and questioning witnesses to track down the suspects.
