ogor Police have exhumed the body of Hilarius Christian Event Raharjo, 15, who allegedly died due to a violent incident at his high school.

Hilarius was a 10th grade student of Budi Mulia senior high school in Bogor who died because he was forced by his seniors to join a gladiator fight with another student from Mardi Yuana senior high school last year.

The exhumation was done because the police wanted to carry out an autopsy on the body to identify the cause of death. The autopsy will be led by a forensic doctor from the West Java Police, Comr. Ihsan, and staff from Bhayangkara Bogor Police Hospital.

“The case will be processed because there is a victim and we will conduct an autopsy,” said Bogor Police head Adj.Comr.Sr. Ulung Sampurna as quoted by kompas.com on Tuesday.

The police have yet to name any suspects in the case but have questioned 17 witnesses.

Hilarius’ mother Maria Agnes said she had obtained statements from students involved in the fight, or that saw him die. They admitted that Hilarius died because of the beating he received during the fight.

Earlier, the case went viral when Maria shared her story on Facebook on Sept.12 asking President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo to help her seek justice for her son’s death. (wnd)
