he Depok Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) has warned e-commerce company Lazada that it would demolish its warehouse in Pancoran Mas, Depok, as it is allegedly being constructed without a permit.
The agency's head, Dudi Miraz, said that although the construction of the warehouse was 70 percent complete, Lazada had neither a building permit nor a business permit.
“We have sent them a second warning letter so the owner of the Lazada warehouse will not continue the construction,” Dudi said Friday as quoted by wartakota.tribunnews.com.
He added that Satpol PP would send a third warning letter and a warrant to demolish the building if the owner took no action after receiving the second letter.
Dudi assured that he would forcibly stop the construction if the owner ignored the warning.
Meanwhile, workers seen in the construction area tidying up building materials on Friday said they were aware that Satpol PP had warned them not to continue with the construction. (wnd)
