"One of the houses was severely damaged. The structure collapsed and its roof was badly damaged. The house is located on the coastline and belongs to a fisherman named Dadang," North Thousand Islands Police chief First Insp. Isbiyanto said as quoted by kompas.com on Monday.
He added that the tornado, which was accompanied by heavy rain, had also knocked down several trees. The streets in the affected location was covered in leaves and debris from the damaged houses, he added.
"Based on information we have gathered so far, there were no casualties," Isbiyanto added.
