igital agency company PT Elven Digital Indonesia has launched a new service called Djaring, a web-builder, aimed at assisting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) wanting to construct their own websites and digital platforms.
Djaring co-founder and CEO Laksamana Mustika said in Jakarta on Tuesday that SMEs needed a special price to build digital platforms because the construction of such infrastructure, including by Djaring’s parent company, was too costly for small businesses.
“This year, we aim to obtain 1000 clients,” he said, adding that Djaring offered a web-building fee of between Rp 300,000 (US$21) and Rp 700,000 per month plus a free starter package for trial.
All packages were hosted by Djaring’s local server in Indonesia, he said.
Laksamana said Djaring also offered integrated payment and shipping services for its clients’ customers.
Djaring had also partnered with Midtrans, an online-payment gateway company, to facilitate customer payments via bank transfer and credit card on Djaring's cleint's websites, he said.
He also said Djaring would cooperate with expedition services such as Tiki JNE, Si Cepat and J&T for shipment of its clients’ goods to their customers.
Meanwhile, to promote Djaring to SME owners, it will hold organize various events, including roadshows and seminars for SME communities. (ami/bbn)
