he opening and closing ceremonies for next month’s Asian Para Games will be produced by Balich Worldwide Shows, in cooperation with Indonesian company Royalindo Convention International.
The multisport event for disabled athletes will run from Oct. 6 to 13 in Jakarta.
The opening ceremony will take place at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium and will celebrate the “Spirit of One Country”, which Indonesia embodies through its myriad of diverse cities, religions, ethnic groups and distinct languages, cultures and styles.
Balich Worldwide Shows designs, creates and produces large-scale events, integrating and emphasizing the uniqueness of different national cultures with every show. It has produced 20 Olympic and Paralympic ceremonies, including those for the 2006 Torino Olympics, Sochi 2014, Rio 2016 and the flag handover ceremonies for Salt Lake City 2002, London 2012 and Tokyo 2020.
