The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has apprehended a judge and other court clerks in South Jakarta for alleged bribery.
At least six individuals were apprehended during an operation launched by graft busters from Tuesday night to Wednesday early morning, KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said.
"The arrest was related to a case handled in the South Jakarta District Court," the spokesman said on Wednesday.
However, he refused to disclose the identity of the apprehended individuals, as they are still undergoing further questioning.
Investigators also seized money amounting to at least S$45,000 (US$32,654) during the operation.
This was the 28th operation in which the graft busters caught individuals implicated in corruption red-handed.
Previously, KPK investigators caught red-handed North Sumatra's Pakpak Bharat regent Remigo Yolando Berutu on Nov. 18 for allegedly accepting bribery amounting Rp 550 million related to infrastructure projects in the regency.
