Eden Motel, Taiwan

If you are a Batman fan, or just a movie geek in general, you should add the Eden Motel to your bucket list.

As the name suggests, it is not a hotel, but a motel, which means it is not appropriate for you to bring your entire family to stay in this hotel - indeed, rooms can be rented by the hour.

From the outside, Eden Motel looks just like a regular motel; however each of its rooms has its own unique design, such as the Alcatraz, Egyptian and New York rooms. But the one that’s been creating a buzz on the internet is the Batman room. Available to rent at a starting price of US$56.8 for three hours, it is equipped with miniature gargoyles, batcave-style walls and Batman posters.

Green Village, Bali

Green Village is not exactly a hotel; it is a community consists of 18 private homes located along the Ayung river in Bali. All of the houses are built entirely using bamboo, but don’t imagine it as a traditional hut - the design and architecture are more similar to lavish cottages.

Set amid lush jungle, the houses are equipped with kitchens and bathrooms with very few walls. Several homes are available for rent by their owners and if you are interested in owning a house in this area, the management is open for an extended lease ranging from 25 to 35 years.

As part of the Legoland Malaysia Resort, it  is a perfect choice for families with children since, other than providing 249 Lego-themed guest rooms with four options available including Pirate, Adventure, Kingdom and Lego Friends, some of the rooms can also accommodate up to eight persons with separate sleeping areas for adults and kids.
