ultan Aji Mahmud Sulaiman Sepinggan Airport in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, is schedulued to open a cinema facility on Wednesday.
The cinema features 15 sofas, air conditioning, a high resolution projector and reliable sound system similar to what is offered at premium regular cinemas, state-owned airport operator Angkasa Pura I corporate secretary Farid Indra Nugraha told kompas.com.

Located at the airport's gatehouse, the cinema will screen films at 7 a.m., 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. local time and is slated to feature Blu-ray quality films and movies made by local filmmakers. Passengers will only have to show their boarding pass to be able to enjoy the entertainment.
"This is part of our customer service. We don't want to fall behind other international airports such as Changi," said Farid. (kes)
