eal Madrid star and captain of the Portuguese national team Cristiano Ronaldo has recently opened a football-themed hotel in Portugal’s Madeira.
Modern and full of Ronaldo’s favorite things, the 48-room property is partially-owned by the footballer. Dubbed Pestana CR7, it is named after his initials and football jersey number.

Despite the luxury feel the hotel is affordable with standard room prices starting at US$240 per night. The hotel is also high tech, with guests able to check in and take a private elevator to their rooms via the hotel’s app. All the rooms also have an HD TV with Android or Apple streaming.
Equipped with an open-air gym, sauna, jacuzzi and infinity pool, the establishment is designed to provide a sports atmosphere for guests to relax in. According to Ronaldo’s personal motto inscribed in the lounge: “To be the best, you need the best”.
Since the Madeira airport was renamed after the superstar, Ronaldo fans can indeed expect to enjoy a full Ronaldo experience when traveling to the hotel. (tif/kes)
