The concept aims to lure tourists arriving at Yogyakarta's new airport in Kulonprogo to visit the aforementioned destinations prior to visiting Borobudur temple, which attracts around 3.5 million tourists every year.
“Therefore, people will not just come to Borobudur, but they will also enjoy other destinations,” he said, adding that a new road would be built from Kulonprogo airport to the temple to support the plan. (tif/kes)
