“The festival won't be a mere ceremony; it’s an important festival on our tourism calendar to promote Central Lombok regency and the province,” said West Nusa Tenggara Culture and Tourism Agency head Lalu Mohammad Faozal.

Hundreds of thousands of domestic and foreign tourists are expected to attend this year for a festival that has always been a tourism magnet. “We have prepared a budget of Rp 500 million [US$37,467] to conduct the festival,” he said. (wir/kes)
