“There’s satay Rembiga served without peanut sauce that is similar to satay Maranggi and satay Balayak served with lontong [rice cake] made with glutinous rice,” said the Tourism Ministry's archipelago tourism marketing development deputy, Esthy Reko Astuti.
The awards ceremony for winners of the April 13-16 Tour De Lombok Mandalika race is also being held during the event.
Mandalika is one of the 10 culinary destinations in the Pesona Indonesia campaign by the Tourism Ministry. The area has also been declared a special economic zone (KEK) for the agro and ecotourism industries. (asw)
