wo students from the NHI Bandung Institute of Tourism (STP NHI Bandung), Gita Dwi Esthi and Nadya Gita Puspita, were announced as winners of the 2017 National Competition of New Business Venture Plan held by Telkom University on June 10.
“The competition was joined by 12 finalists from different universities. We are grateful that two of our students are the winners,” said STP NHI Bandung head Anang Sutono.

Both Esthi and Puspita are in their eighth semester of university, studying tourism business management.
For the competition, the two students came up HiCamp, a mobile-based business application that connects experienced hikers who own hiking and camping gears to those who need the equipment. The HiCamp application aims to meet the market’s increasing demand for hiking and camping activities.
The app itself consists of four main features: HiRent Tools for renting, HiBuy Tools for purchasing, HiNews that consists of current hiking and camping-related news and HiFriends that connects sellers and buyers. (asw)
