Taiwanese airline, EVA Air has been recognized for having Best Airline Cabin Cleanliness and Best Business Class Comfort Amenities. Skytrax revealed its annual World Airline Awards 2017 at the Paris Airshow on Tuesday.

The awards are determined via a global passenger satisfaction survey. Among the 320 airlines featured in the final results, travelers are most satisfied with EVA Air’s services.
In a press release, Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted said, “No airline can overlook the importance of in-flight cabin cleanliness and the impact this has on customer travel experience. It’s a great testimony of EVA Air’s inflight cleanliness and cabin maintenance checks that this is the second time in three years that the airline has been voted by passengers as the World’s Cleanest Airline.”

Aside from being named the cleanest and as having the best business class comfort amenities, EVA Air also managed to rank second for World’s Best Airport Services and third for World’s Best Cabin Staff. The airline has been ranked by Skytrax since 2008 and has continuously improved its services and products.
EVA Air president Derek Chen said in an official statement that the airline will continue to improve. “When we received the 5-Star Award last year, we made a commitment that EVA will not stop improving and innovating and will continue to uphold this honor,” he said. “This year, Skytrax again awarded us five stars. This demonstrates the consistency of our top-notch service,” he added.
Skytrax surveys were conducted in English, Spanish and Chinese among 19.87 million eligible respondents between August 2016 and May 2017. The survey is regarded as ‘independent, impartial and global’ by the global rating organization and its awards program is not-for-profit.
