ollowing his five-day vacation in Bali, former US President Barack Obama and his entourage arrived in Yogyakarta on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.
For the three-day visit to Yogyakarta, the group is staying at Tentrem Hotel, which is owned by jamu (herbal medicine) maker PT Sido Muncul.

“Obama is staying at the only presidential suite at the hotel, which has six bedrooms,” said Sido Muncul president director Irwan Hidayat.
On their first day in Yogyakarta, Obama, his wife and two daughters visited the famed Borobudur Temple, a 9th-century Buddhist temple located in Magelang. On Thursday, the entourage visited Prambanan Temple, an ancient Hindu temple in Bokoharjo.
"Yogyakarta is ready to welcome an important figure like Barack Obama. Whether you want to learn how to play the gamelan, [experience] traditional dance or [the craft of] batik or traditional masks or explore paddy fields, all of these activities are available in Yogyakarta,” said Tourism Minister Arief Yahya.
