Malta-based news publication Malta Today has run a travel story on its website regarding Nusa Penida in Bali.
Nusa Penida is an island located on the southeast of Bali and serves as the largest island on Bali's southeastern coast after Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan.
The island is known as a bird sanctuary alongside neighboring Lembongan and Ceningan islands and particularly popular for its diving sites.

In the article, the writer explores every nook and cranny of the island, writing, “This place is full of hidden gems, such as an area called Angels Billabong, a natural pool of turquoise color in between limestone cliffs, that comes right out to the open water. The terrace-like pool overlooks the entire bay and when there is a swell the water comes right up into the air over the terrace wall.”
He also mentions about other places in Nusa Penida that are worth visiting like Manta Point, Broken Beach, Seganing Waterfall and Gunung Cening Temple.
Recently, another popular destination in Indonesia was also featured in US fashion and lifestyle publication Vogue, which listed Komodo Island in East Nusa Tenggara as one of the "top 10 Unexpected Places to Travel this Summer." (kes)
