Tourism Ministry's archipelago tourism marketing development deputy Esthy Reko Astuti praised Tanjungpinang for initiating such event.
“The grand carnival concept includes the 4Es concept, which is Education, Entertainment, Exhibition and Economic benefit. We want this carnival to become the leading tourist attraction that can improve other tourism-related businesses such as hotel, restaurant, transportation, souvenirs, local dishes and others,” said Esthy.
