ourism Ministry recently conducted an awareness event on Long-Distance Learning System through online training for 50 State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at Jogja Plaza Hotel, Yogyakarta.
The training was held for two days on Nov. 8 – 9 and supported by Telkom.
“The awareness event will be held in four locations, Yogyakarta, Surabaya on Nov. 12 – 14, Bali on Nov. 20 – 22 and West Nusa Tenggara on Dec. 26 – 28,” said the ministry's deputy for institutional development, Ahman Sya.
ASN’s human resources development deputy assistant Riwud Mujirahayu added that online training, or E-Learning, is a new form of learning process where students don’t have to sit in a class.
“Online training can shorten the study time and save cost. This activity will speed up and simplify the study on tourism via digital media,” told Riwud. (asw)
