A playground featuring giant balloon art in the heart of Singapore will return next month.

The Art-Zoo Inflatable Park @ i Light Marina Bay will be back with a new line up of 15 giant inflatable clusters for visitors of all ages.

Created by Jackson Tan, the playground is inspired by his memories of visiting and drawing the animals at Singapore Zoo. Art-Zoo is designed to encourage visitors to explore nature through accessible and interactive art.

“This year, we have created a new line up of giant inflatables with characters from our natural habitat, where some species are at risk of becoming endangered, extinct, or exist only in our imagination. I hope Art-Zoo will inspire visitors to not just have fun and stretch their imagination, but also do their part for conservation,” said Tan.

The second edition of Art-Zoo will be a large art inflatable playground right in the city center. Other than real-life characters, Tan also created mythical creatures from his imagination.

The zoo will be open daily 5 p.m to 10 p.m. from March 9 until April 1. Entry tickets can be bought from artzooworld.com or at the gates.

For a sneak peak, the public can visit the Art-Zoo Preview Tour at Bedok Mall, Bugis+, JCube, Plaza Singapura, Raffles City and Westgate in Singapore. (wen/kes)
