ow-cost air carrier Citilink Indonesia has stated that its recently launched inflight Wi-Fi service will not have any impact on ticket prices.
“The service is absolutely free. It will not be added to fares,” Juliandra Nurcahyo, director of Citilink Indonesia, Thursday told Kompas on Thursday.
In its initial phase, the free inflight Wi-Fi service will be available on the most popular routes, namely Yogyakarta, Semarang and Bali.

“The service will also be available in all of our planes,” said Juliandra.
In addition to that, Citilink also provides inflight high-speed internet connection available for purchase, with a 78 Mbps service.
For this service, Citilink Indonesia is collaborating with PT Mahata Aero (MAT), Lufthansa Technik and Lufthansa System.
Citilink passengers will be able to enjoy the services in the fourth quarter of 2018. (wng)
