Bangkok topped the list, as the Thai capital welcomed 20.1 million foreign visitors. London came in close in second with 19.83 million visitors, followed by Paris with 17.44 million.

Rounding up the top five are Dubai with 15.79 million and Singapore with 13.91 million, sitting in fourth and fifth place respectively.
As reported by Kompas.com, Mastercard said the most visited cities in the world usually have solid infrastructure, attractions for recreation and business, as well as a strong reflection of local culture. (liz/kes)
