ecause consumer behavior is now inseparable from digital technology, business and company operations need to adapt to digital transformation in a digital era like today. This is happening in the banking industry as well. Customers rarely make direct transactions in banks anymore as they conduct transactions digitally more often.
Venture builder company GDP Venture will hold innovation conference ICON2018, which will discuss various issues on digital transformation in both Indonesia and the world. Among the speakers is Indonesia’s largest private lender Bank Central Asia (BCA) deputy president director Armand Hartono, who will speak about leadership. BCA has been applying Kepemimpinan Jaman Now (Leadership These Days) to respond to the changing behavior of its customers amid the fast development of technology.
Armand hopes that business professionals will get inspired and change their mind-set, strategy and leadership to become more innovative so they can see the next trends and business opportunities in the future.
“In GDP Venture’s ICON2018, we’ll present 15 industry leaders from Indonesia and other countries, who will share their success stories, insights and transformative ideas in their businesses,” said Ossy Indra Wardhani, GDP Venture’s head of public relations.
Among the speakers are: Communications and Information Minister Rudiantara, Antonny Liem of Merah Putih Incubator, Armand Hartono of BCA, Gaery Undarsa of online ticket booking site Tiket.com, Hari Shankar of Singapore Media Exchange, Michael DeAngelo of HolaCracy One, Nadiem Makarim of popular ride-hailing application Go-Jek, Najwa Shihab of Narasi.tv, Nishant Raju of American data management platform Lotame, On Lee of GDP Labs, Rama Mamuaya of DailySosial, Rob Sebastian of London-based entertainment content and intellectual rights organization XIX Entertainment, Suresh Mylavarapu of Google, Upen Barve of German-based European multinational software corporation SAP and William Tanuwijaya of online marketplace Tokopedia.
DeAngelo will share his success story in applying the Holacracy system to the structure of an organization. A panel discussion, which will be led by Antonny, will discuss how to change an old paradigm by starting a successful business, which used to raise doubts in the beginning. The panel is set to involve Najwa, Gaery Undarsa, Nadiem and William.
In this event, Barve will also share his insights on being prepared for changes at all times and on shaping a company as the leaders want it.
“We’re currently selling tickets for GDP Venture’s ICON2018 with a discount of 20 percent,” Ossy said. She added that GDP Venture offered an additional discount of 20 percent by using one of the following promo codes: KUMPARAN20, IDNTIMES20, BERITAGAR20, TJP20, KURIO20 or MARKET20.
The event is expected to draw 500 participants. More information on GDP Venture’s ICON2018 is available at website gdpventureicon.com.
