covacs Robotics is launching Ecovacs Airbot Ava, the first robotic air purifier in Indonesia. It is scheduled to launch online on Nov. 11. Embodying the company's “purification evolves in motion” motto, the robotic air purifier offers an intelligent and autonomous solution to proactively detect, track and remove indoor air pollutants, cleaning the air four times better than conventional air purifiers.

“Ecovacs is leading the industrial revolution with its pioneering air purifying robot. With ten years of research and design efforts dedicated to the air purification industry, Ecovacs has designed the new Airbot Ava robotic air purifier to meet consumer needs for air quality with a system that can synergize with smart home devices.” said David Qian, CEO of Ecovacs Robotics.

The air purifier answers the need of customers who are increasingly aware of how air pollution affects their health, and desire better indoor air quality for their family. The robotic air purifier automatically improves the air quality in several indoor areas by filtering 150 liters of air in one second. Its sensors automatically detect pollutant concentrations and guide the robot to areas of the lowest indoor air quality. When the air quality is clear, the robot moves to the next designated area that has lower air quality.

The mobile robotic air purifier is able to cover up to 120 square meters and easily get to other areas with poor air quality. The product features TrueMapping, a mapping and navigation technology, which gives the ability to easily map home layouts for air purification by combining Direct Time of Flight (dTof) sensors with leading algorithms. Using TrueDetect 3D, a laser linear 3D obstacle avoidance technology that works in conjunction with 23 sensors, it automatically avoids collisions with obstacles, such as children's toys, if they are in its pathway.

Ecovacs Airbot Ava also has the ability to detect and remove pollutants such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), allergens, bacteria and viruses, which is quite rare when compared with the performance of conventional fixed air purifiers in the market. In order to do this, it utilizes 360 degrees HEPA filtration and an activated carbon system to filter over 99.9 percent of 0.3μm particles while removing formaldehyde, other VOCs and harmful PM1.0 particles, particular features that allow the mobile robot air purifier to clean the air four times better than its competitors, without taking as much time.

Moreover, Airbot Ava constantly monitors the home environment and purifies it automatically based on its detection. Its five air quality monitors analyze the room’s air quality in real-time and automatically activate the AIRBOT air purification cleaning function when PM1.0 particles or VOC levels are higher than the optimal air quality level.

David adds, “The products we present can be controlled with a smart home system, making it easier for young families to operate the device. We present products that are not only practical but also answer the needs of young families in Indonesia.”

Airbot Ava can also cater to the customers’ different needs by allowing them to select their favorite mode using the smart and easy-to-use Ecovacs Home application. Options include Baby Care, Sleep and Evening.
