View all search resultsT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) and PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) are collaborating to provide HOME Syariah financing and other financing facilities for PNM Mekaar Syariah customers.
The induction was symbolically given to 10 PNM customers by Sunar Basuki as the director of operations of SMF and Ananta Wiyogo as president director of SMF. The event was witnessed by Hasanudin as an SMF Sharia supervisory board member at the SMF building in South Jakarta on Tuesday.
This collaboration is intended to help PNM Mekaar customers renovate or repair their homes being used as a place of business, as well as provide financial support from SMF as a secondary housing financing company.
It is based on sharia principles by using the mudharabah muqayyadah contract; in this case, SMF as shahibul maal and PNM as mudharib, as recognized by the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council.
“Supported by SMF, this part of the efforts made by PNM and the government to meet the needs of community boards. We, the PNM family, would like to thank SMF for supporting and providing added value to our customers,” said Sunar, adding that the program was a major step in improving the welfare of communities, especially PNM customers.
Ananta said the launch of this program was proof of the commitment made by SMF to serve all community groups that needed access to financing homes, including those without a fixed income.
This is in line with Financial Services Authority (OJK) Regulation No. 12/2022, a revised version of OJK Regulation No. 4/2018 that has been accepted by SMF as a way to maximize the functions and roles of SMF in accordance with the government's mandate in Presidential Regulation No. 100/2020.
As of Monday, PNM has distributed Rp 130 trillion (US$8.66 billion) in financing to 12.2 million PNM Mekaar customers. Currently, PNM has 3,386 PNM Mekaar service offices and 688 PNM ULaMM service offices throughout Indonesia, serving small and medium enterprises in all 34 provinces, 443 regencies/cities and 5,640 subdistricts.
