omecoming Day UI 2022 is back to explore the artistic and athletic talents of Universitas Indonesia (UI). The prestigious UI event is done in collaboration with the alumni association (Ikatan Alumni Universitas Indonesia or ILUNI UI), UI and PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. or BNI.
With the theme “Heartwarming, Love, and Dance”, UI Homecoming Day was filled with nostalgia by RAN, The Groove, Chaplin and a row of UI alumni musicians at the UI Rotunda field in Depok, West Java, on Sunday, Aug. 21.
The General Chair of ILUNI UI, Andre Rahadian, said that the Homecoming Day was an Indonesian event filled with arts and sports activities that was most anticipated by all UI alumni.
"We appreciate all parties involved in the success of UI 2022 Homecoming Day, especially UI and BNI. This is a gathering event between the alumnis from 16 faculties at the University of Indonesia, who are able to bring together more than 5,000 UI alumni from all over Indonesia,” he explained.
Head of Alumni Center ILUNI UI, Wadan Metha Firdaus stated that the activities started in the morning with a leisure bike ride, followed by a blood drive, health checkups and vaccine runs.
By noon, the event was enlivened by faculty performances through parodies in the form of short theater performances about experiences during the pandemic presented in comedy packages, as well as band performances from faculty or program representatives and flash mob competitions.
"In addition, there were also alumni gathering spots, and competitions between faculties with the theme of UI campus nostalgia, Temu Kilat [Quick Gathering], which is a networking session between UI alumni with various topics related to career, business and social life," he said.
Launch KTA ILUNI UI and UI Connect gen 2
According to a statement, BNI's Director of Institutional Relations Sis Apik Wijayanto explained that BNI has always shown a commitment to synergize with ILUNI UI, including at this year's UI Homecoming Day event.
BNI relaunched the KTA ILUNI UI membership card with a newer design, along with the launch of the UI Connect gen 2 application in which BNI provided support in the development of said application.
The UI Connect application is one that can be a forum for connecting alumni of UI and creating bonds between alumni.
“The collaboration with ILUNI UI and with the University of Indonesia has been done in various fields for a long time. On this occasion, BNI feels proud to be able to fully support this activity," he explained.
Moreover, there are also incentivized promotions and BNI cashbacks, such as cashback prizes of up to Rp 100,000 for opening a KTA ILUNI account.
There is also a promotion to apply for an ILUNI Credit Card with benefits in the form of cashback of Rp 500,000, installments for tuition fees at UI for up to 12 months, cashback of up to 3 percent for the payment of tuition fees, a bonus of threefold BNI Rewards Points for transactions in multiples of Rp 2,500, a free annual fee for five consecutive years and an endowment fund provided by BNI to UI.
Furthermore, the Fleksi Pendidikan promotion bears benefits of paying interest only for the first two years, a flexibility period of up to 15 years, maximum credit of up to Rp 500 million, an interest of only 0.85 percent off per month, provisions of only 0.5 percent and free administration fee.
BNI also has a BNI Griya application promotion starting at 2.76 percent per year and a BNI AM application promotion to get cashback as much as Rp 50,000 in the form of a BNI-AM Fixed Income Fund Participation and Unit Makara Investment Fund for the first 100 people.
Moreover, the BNI Life application promotion offers benefits such as double insurance and investment allocation starting from the first year and additional complete and comprehensive insurance.
Lastly, the BNI Multifinance promotion gets a 3.17 percent interest benefit Flat Tenor for 1-3 Years and a Tap Cash promo with benefits such as a balance of Rp 50,000 for Rp 80,000 transactions, as well as promos for tenants at the venue, and activation programs and m-banking transactions with new users and existing users receiving the Wonderful Indonesia edition of TapCash with a balance of Rp 20,000.
