ndonesia's leading business-to-business (B2B) food service start-up, EdenFarm, embraces the spirit of Idul Adha by spreading joy among its farmer-partner community across the Eden Collection Facility (ECF) and Farming Project (FP) operational areas. ECF serves as a facility where all sorting and quality control activities take place for farmer-partners' crops, while the Farming Project is a flagship program providing agricultural funding, including fertilizers, seeds, pesticides and intensive assistance from the EdenFarm agronomist team to maximize yields.
Starting on Tuesday, sacrificial animal donations has been distributed in parallel across 9 areas, including FP Probolinggo, FP Nganjuk, FP Pangalengan, FP Sukabumi, ECF Malang, ECF Pangalengan, ECF Cipanas, ECF Temanggung, ECF Brebes and ECF Garut.
Saeful Bahri, a farmer partner from ECF Brebes, expressed gratitude for receiving a sacrificial animal donation and said, "I am thankful to EdenFarm for sharing sacrificial animals with our farming community this Idul Adha. May these animals bring blessings to all of us."
Saeful Bahri, an EdenFarm farmer partner since January 2022, regularly supplies up to 2.5 tons of shallots to ECF Brebes.
Regarding the initiative, Tyara Putri, Corporate Communications Manager of EdenFarm, said, "Donating sacrificial animals is a customary practice for us during Idul Adha, demonstrating our support for EdenFarm's farmer partners in our operational areas."
In addition to these donations, EdenFarm has implemented various initiatives to enhance the welfare of local farmers, including assistance, training and loyalty rewards for EdenFarm-assisted farmers. Tyara also mentioned that on June 16, EdenFarm celebrated its 6th year as a B2B-focused food supplier start-up, highlighting the essential role played by farmer partners in meeting the demands of EdenFarm's customers in the food and culinary business. Therefore, the donation of sacrificial animals serves as a token of gratitude to EdenFarm's partners and the farming community.
“The hope is that these donations will bring sustainable benefits to EdenFarm's farmer-partners and foster enthusiasm for agricultural sustainability in Indonesia”, she concluded.
