The annual road running race is a fundraising event organized in collaboration with the Djarum Foundation, and will contribute to planting trees and mangroves across the city.

Both professional and recreational runners are welcome to participate in this year’s Padma Run, which will host two categories: the 10-kilometer race that kicks off at 5:30 a.m. and the 5K race that kicks off at 5:45 a.m.

“We are very excited to present this year’s Padma Run on a larger scale and with a more inclusive concept,” said Raya Citra Priatama, chairman of Padma Run Semarang.

“This is not just a competition, but also an occasion for the community to come together, celebrate the spirit of healthy living and enjoy the beauty of Semarang,” he said.

This year’s event passes through a new scenic route, offering a fresh route for returning runners while first-time participants will have the opportunity to take in Semarang’s landscape, running past iconic landmarks such as Lawang Sewu and Taman Indonesia Kaya in a unique experience that combines the city’s beauty and healthy exercise.

All participants will receive a medal upon finishing the race, as well as a special race pack filled with products and gifts from the event’s various vendors and sponsors. The event will also be enlivened by a variety of exciting activities and entertainment, including exhibition stands featuring various sponsors.
