T

he first stone for Nusantara Mall Duty Free has been placed in the future capital city. This milestone event, held in conjunction with the inauguration of Swissôtel Nusantara, affirms the commitment to develop this area into a world-class center of modernity and lifestyle.

Swissôtel Nusantara, the first five-star hotel in Nusantara, officially became operational in August, amid the Independence Day celebration. Strategically placed near the presidential palace, the hotel offers 191 luxurious rooms, complemented by excellent facilities including NUSA Restaurant, meeting rooms with various capacities, a swimming pool and a fitness center.

Meanwhile, the groundbreaking of Nusantara Mall Duty Free marks the start of the construction of a visionary project spanning 120,000 square meters. The complex will include a shopping center, a luxurious hotel, serviced apartments and other supporting facilities. The mall will be operated by ASRI, which has had successful experience in operating well-known malls in Jakarta.

The design of the mall carries the concept of "people-oriented" and "green & futuristic," with an area of 9 hectares. The building mass is designed to extend along the perimeter of the land to respond to community activities on the side of the main road, while the open space with diverse landscapes offers a refreshing shopping experience in accordance with the character of Nusantara.

The inauguration of Swissôtel Nusantara and the laying of the first stone of Nusantara Mall Duty Free were attended by a number of important figures from various sectors, including representatives of the Nusantara Consortium from Agung Sedayu Group, Sinar Mas Group, Barito Pacific Group, Adaro Group, Mulia Group, Pulau Intan Group, Kawan Lama Group, Alfamart Group, Salim Group and Era Jaya.

With an investment of Rp 5 trillion planned by Konsorsium Nusantara, the Swissôtel Nusantara and Nusantara Mall Duty Free projects will be prime examples of sustainability and innovation in infrastructure development.
