Art Jakarta is set to return for 2024, bringing 73 galleries from across the world to wow both aficionados and collectors alike.

Slated to run from Oct. 4 to 6 at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Art Jakarta 2024’s main program Art Jakarta Gallery will feature 39 national galleries alongside 34 international galleries including from Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Australia and Russia.

Art Jakarta 2024 is also supported by four Main Partners and 14 Key Partners, highlighting more artistic expression from the region.

Swiss-based wealth management group Julius Baer will feature the works of Indonesian contemporary artist Sunaryo at Julius Baer VIP Lounge, which reflects the interconnectedness of Indonesian culture and his own dedication to pushing the limits of artistic expression.

Known for its annual UOB Painting of the Year competition, UOB Indonesia will showcase winning artworks from previous competitions by 12 Indonesian artists and four Southeast Asian artists at UOB Art Space.

Meanwhile, award-winning digital investment app Bibit and Stockbit will highlight their collaboration with artist Cinanti Astria Johansyah and the Rajut Kejut collective titled “Knit by Knit”, which delves into the intersection between art and finance through a refreshing narrative of financial management.

Digital gold marketplace app Treasury will feature Treasury Art Prize winner Bandu Darmawan’s “Exponential Echoes” an interactive art installation centered on the notion of gold or wealth as a source for good.

In addition to the exhibitions, visitors can also attend art discussions with artists, experts, collectors and curators through the AJ Talk platform. This year, the panelists will include Hyphen–, Galeri Nasional,  Penerbit Gang Kabel, IVAA (Indonesian Visual Art Archive), and UOB Indonesia.

With more exhibitors and partnerships than ever before, Art Jakarta will showcase a broad range of contemporary works across a variety of mediums that reflect the latest developments and trends in the region’s art scene.

Tickets are on sale from Sept. 20, and can be bought only at artjakarta.com
