IA, in collaboration with BCA, through the AIA Vitality program, proudly presented the BCA-AIA Vitality Active Day 2024 event on Oct. 6 at the Car Free Day area in Jakarta, Gate 1 Senayan Gelora Bung Karno (FX Sudirman).
The event featured wellness activities to promote a healthy lifestyle, including body combat, Zumba, DJ performances, games and a social media competition with a prize of a Flazz card worth Rp 500,000 (US$31.86). The event, which was open to the public, was attended by BCA-AIA customers who are AIA Vitality members, as well as AIA and BCA management.
Active Day 2024 was organized to further introduce AIA Vitality as a health & wellness program that can support customers in building a healthy lifestyle and preventing disease through three simple steps:
1. Know your health by conducting health tests online or offline by visiting clinics partnered with AIA Vitality.
2. Improve your health through personal and community exercise challenges, a healthy diet and vaccinations.
3. Enjoy the rewards for successfully completing various health challenges. Rewards include weekly shopping vouchers worth Rp 50,000, gym membership discounts, smartwatch purchase discounts and more.
The AIA Vitality program can be accessed by customers by integrating their AIA Vitality membership with AIA insurance products such as Premier Pro, MILA Plus, PRIMA Extra and Maxi Value Protection.
"BCA supports AIA's commitment to providing comprehensive financial protection through insurance products integrated with AIA Vitality as part of the solution to maintain a healthier lifestyle. We hope that the Active Day 2024 event would inspire more people to continue engaging in regular fitness activities," said Indrawan B, executive vice president of wealth management at BCA.
"We were very excited to present Active Day 2024. This program provided access and support for living a healthy and protected lifestyle with AIA Vitality, which is designed to provide the motivation and support needed to achieve better health," added Kathryn Parapak, chief marketing officer at AIA.
AIA Vitality has 30,000 members for whom it has already proven to have a significant positive impact. Data as of June 2023 show that 73 percent of members successfully reduced glucose levels, 63 percent achieved healthier blood pressure, 33 percent reported lower cholesterol levels and 13 percent obtained healthier body mass index (BMI) values.
