o commemorate Astra’s 65th birthday, the company is conveying a message with the theme of "The Spirit of Moving and Growing Together" through cross-sector collaboration. One of the aforementioned collaborations is with Indonesian musicians, namely the band RAN, in a theme song for Astra's 65th Anniversary titled "Always Together".

The song portrays the journey the company went through, and continues to go through, to grow alongside the people and the nation. It is a story of togetherness that is similar to the story of RAN over the past 15 years.

“Present for more than six decades in Indonesian society, Astra has always moved with people from across generations to inspire, innovate and contribute to the progress of the nation. Astra’s collaboration with RAN in bringing the message “Always Together” shows the company’s commitment to adapt so that we can continue to grow together and share our passion with the community in facing future changes and challenges," said Astra's chief of corporate affairs Riza Deliansyah.

"'Always Together' is indeed a song that aims to provide a sense of enthusiasm and optimism in managing and facing the future that we have created especially for Astra and music lovers," said the band RAN in a virtual press conference held on Thursday (17/02/2022). It also announced that a music video would be released the following Monday via YouTube channels SATU and RANforyourlife, as well as on Vidio.com, and 65tahunastra.jagat.live.

The special song, however, will not be the only thing the company does to commemorate the special milestone. Astra invites everyone to watch inspiring webinars from leading speakers who are experts in their fields in managing innovative and sustainable solutions at the InnovNation event. The virtual event will be attended by the Education, Culture, Research and Technology Minister Nadiem Makarim, cofounder and COO of Ruangguru Iman Usman and cofounder & chief growth officer of Nafas Piotr Jakubowski.

"Astra's 65th Anniversary series will present activities with the concept of virtual events and virtual exhibitions through the digital platform 65tahunastra.jagat.live from Feb. 22 to 26, 2022, which is intended for Astra People and the public. Throughout this year there will also be a virtual movement with all of society and a series of events for Astra's 65th Anniversary with various themes," said Astra's chief of corporate human capital development Aloysius Budi Santoso as chairman of Astra's 65th Anniversary Committee.

Furthermore, the company also encourages the wider public to participate in the spirit of moving and growing together through the #SemangatSalingHelp movement by contributing to a better future through activities. This includes saving water, sorting waste, reducing the utilization of single-use plastic and simply caring for and growing plants.

Every single message uploaded via text, photo or video to social media with the hashtag #SemangatSalingBantu will be converted by Astra into a package of #SemangatSalingBantu assistance, which will be distributed to communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
