uring the Indonesian International Motor Show 2024 (IIMS 2024), VinFast Auto formalized partnerships with five renowned dealerships in Indonesia. These partnerships signal VinFast’s strategic move to grow its distribution network in the Indonesian market, fortifying its new brand presence and global competitiveness.

A subsidiary of Vingroup, VinFast is dedicated to advancing the global smart electric vehicle (EV) movement. Established in 2017, VinFast operates a cutting-edge automotive manufacturing complex in Hai Phong, Vietnam, known for its exceptional scalability, boasting up to 90 percent automation. First expanding globally in 2022, VinFast officially entered the Indonesian market in February 2024, with a steadfast commitment to a sustainable future.

The initial five VinFast dealership roster in Indonesia involves GSU, BAM and GNA, which are headquartered in Jakarta; MCA, situated in Medan; and Majesty, based in Batam. These collaborations are poised to swiftly introduce VinFast's brand to local consumers and establish crucial connections within the community.

VinFast will offer later this year the  VF 5, VF e34, VG 6 and VF 7 EV models following their official market launch. Pricing details, sales arrangements, including order procedures, and after-sales policies will be formally disclosed in the first half of 2024.

"VinFast is delighted to partner with leading automotive dealers in Indonesia to bring local customers modern, exciting and eco-friendly mobility solutions. We believe these agreements pave the way for a strong development foundation for VinFast and its partners, while also unlocking boundless opportunities for the local and regional sustainable transportation industry," said Tran Quoc Huy, CEO of VinFast Indonesia.

Echoing this sentiment, Hartono Kurniawan, director of BAM, remarked: “We are thrilled to partner with VinFast, a brand renowned for its green vision and strong foundation in the electric vehicle industry. This strategic cooperation will bring high-quality, competitively priced vehicles with youthful design and outstanding after-sales support to the Indonesian market, promoting the development of the domestic electric vehicle industry.”
