Reflecting the company’s healthy business fundamentals in an increasingly dynamic industry, revenue rose 9 percent qoq to Rp 15.36 trillion in the fourth quarter of 2025, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased 12 percent qoq to Rp 26.6 trillion with an EBITDA margin of 47.1 percent, demonstrating healthy financial fundamentals and disciplined execution.
According to Vikram Sinha, president director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, 2025 was an important year for the company, which continued to strengthen its foundation for long-term sustainable growth.
“We closed 2025 with strong momentum, delivering on our guidance and ending the year on a solid trajectory into 2026, marked by robust revenue growth, accelerating profitability and strong net profit,” Sinha said in a statement.
In addition, Indosat enhanced customer value and experience, as reflected in its blended average revenue per user (ARPU), which increased 6.4 percent yoy to Rp 44,000.
The company attributed this growth to rising data consumption and stronger engagement across both the prepaid and postpaid segments. In particular, the postpaid customer base grew 19.7 percent yoy, reflecting increasing trust in the company’s service quality and reliability.
Indosat also attributed last year’s performance to consistent execution of artificial intelligence-powered hyper-personalization, a superior network experience and customer-centric innovations such as the AI-powered 360 Scam and Spam Protection, which safeguards users across multiple digital channels through an advanced agentic platform.
“Our progressive ARPU growth is driven by AI-powered hyper-personalization, a stronger network and our relentless focus on delivering a remarkable customer experience,” said Sinha.
“Guided by our purpose to empower Indonesia, we are strengthening our foundation through disciplined investment, operational excellence and AI-driven transformation to build a resilient, inclusive and future-ready digital ecosystem.”
Expanding connectivity
As Indonesians increasingly rely on digital connectivity for work, learning, commerce and daily communication, Indosat continued to strengthen its network through improved nationwide coverage.
By the end of 2025, the company’s total network footprint grew 11.1 percent yoy to over 278,000 base transceiver stations (BTS), including more than 213,000 4G BTS, ensuring broader coverage and improved capacity across key regions.
Meanwhile, Indosat significantly accelerated its 5G rollout, increasing its reach to more than 6,800 5G BTS sites nationwide, or over 60 times the previous year’s figure.
With faster speeds, lower latency and future-ready connectivity, the rapid expansion reinforces the company’s role in laying the foundation for the next phase of digital growth in Indonesia.
While maintaining high network reliability, Indosat has introduced its fixed wireless access (FWA) solution through the HiFi Air brand, which aims to support the evolving digital needs of Indonesian customers. With 5G services and HiFi Air now available in 24 cities, Indosat closed 2025 with approximately 400,000 Home Broadband (HBB) customers.
Beyond speed and coverage, Indosat has also emphasized the importance of building a safe and trusted digital environment as digital interactions continue to grow, strengthening customer protection through the 2025 rollout of its AI-powered anti-spam and anti-scam features, which help customers identify and avoid fraudulent calls and suspicious messages.
The initiatives are set against the backdrop of Indosat’s broader AI integration with advanced network capabilities to deliver smarter, more adaptive and more human-centered connectivity.
Through continuous investment in digital infrastructure, data-driven operations and innovation, Indosat is accelerating its transformation into an AI-driven company committed to advancing Indonesia’s digital ecosystem.
