conic sportswear and footwear retailer Foot Locker has opened its fourth store in Indonesia and its first Bali outlet following the opening of its third store at Central Park Mall on April 15.
Located on the first floor of Beachwalk Shopping Mall in Kuta, Bali, the company’s newest store measures 570 square meters and is expected to become a hub for the sneakers subculture, as well as art, music and sports, for youths in Bali and surrounding areas.
In line with its mission, Foot Locker collaborated with several Balinese artists to add local flavor to its Bali store. These included Balinese graffiti artist 6Sleeck6 and photographers Hidwii and Dewa Nhara, who contributed their works to highlight Bali’s unique culture and identity.
Over the weekend in conjunction with the store opening, Foot Locker also held an online raffle for a limited-edition product, presented a live shoe-painting demonstration and offered free gifts to the first 100 customers to set foot in the Bali outlet.
With approximately 3,000 stores in 28 countries across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, as well as its easy-to-access website, Foot Locker is on a worldwide mission to inspire and empower youth culture by encouraging the shared spirit of self-expression and creating unforgettable experiences at the heart of the global sneaker community.
Foot Locker Retail, Inc. has partnered with PT Map Aktif Adiperkasa (MAPA) to operate its Indonesian stores.
