PT Permodalan Nasional Madani commits to helping Orphans to Celebrate the Ramadan Season

T

his Ramadan season, finance company PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM), which is incorporated in the Ultra Micro Holding with BRI and Pegadaian, continues its commitment to empower underprivileged customers and the environment around its operational areas.

Embracing the holiday spirit, PNM is conducting a series of positive initiatives, most notably the acts of giving and sharing. Through BRI’s charity program, PNM provides batches of sembako as well as financial compensation to the Ar Royyan orphanages in Malang.

According to Yusril Ardiansyah, the branch head of PNM Malang, PNM’s participation in this program is a form of real contribution from them to their surrounding communities. “We hope that the interactions between our PNM Malang personnel and the kids at the orphanage will leave a lasting impression on them,” he added.

The main driver for PNM’s motivation in helping Indonesian children is so that they can achieve a better future. Because of that, the interactions that the PNM personnel have with the children at the orphanage are of high importance.

“We recognize that to push our economy forward we can't just support our customers, but the surrounding communities, especially the children, need to be empowered because they will be the future driving force of the nation’s economy,” continued Yusril.

Yusril and PNM believes that if they can help perpetuate happiness within the kids they interact with, it will boost their confidence when they are older and they will have a more positive outlook towards life.

“We talked with over 35 kids in the Ar Royyan orphanage, and we tried to push their imaginations so that they can have ambitious dreams. We hope that those dreams will motivate them to keep going through life despite the unfortunate circumstances.”

As a company that has channeled financing of over Rp 12 trillion for their customers, PNM is committed to not only contribute to the national economy, but also to benefit the social sector with highly integrated principles.
