Currently, BSD City has three highway gates that are accessible for the public with plans to develop two more for a total of five highway entry and exit points in BSD City. Additionally, other means of transportation, like the KRL, which has three stations located throughout the area, make mobility into the downtown area of Jakarta very accessible for all citizens of the independent area.

Laurencia Evilyn, division head of BSD Residential said, “BSD City is becoming an independent city area that serves as a dynamic one-stop solution for living, working, learning and leisure. There are over 40,000 units built already at an average rate of 1,500 units per year, totaling up to 150,000 residents.”

She added that BSD City was the first metropolitan area in Indonesia that was considered a smart city, integrating digital solutions within its infrastructure, like reliable fiber optics, integrated command centers, a digitized traffic & safety supervision system and free public Wi-Fi. Moving forward, BSD City will also be equipped with lifestyle hubs such as a Korean Village and a dedicated theme park area covering over 35 hectares that includes Cimory’s Dairyland and a City Zoo developed by Jatim Park.

To further push BSD City into becoming a one-stop destination for all aspects of life, the city is introducing Enchante Residence, a luxury lifestyle residential cluster that is aimed at the high-net-worth market in Indonesia, particularly individuals who are located in Greater Jakarta.

With the theme of “Entice The Sense” and designed by Denny Gondo, the Enchante Residence is a new milestone for BSD City in its mission of developing into an established city.
