TUDOR, INTime showcases newly released watches for 2023

T

he iconic Swiss watch brand TUDOR’s red, white and black colors were center-stage, illuminating the sophisticated ambience of The Bar at Park Hyatt Jakarta, on the evening of May 25.

In partnership with Indonesia's premier luxury watch company INTime, over 60 guests were invited to step into the world of TUDOR while enjoying the unrivaled views of Jakarta’s skyline. Welcoming guests into the space was the brand’s distinct #BornToDare signage, which tells the story of the watchmaking vision of founder Hans Wilsdorf and how that vision was daringly brought to life.

Partnering with cyclist and multiple Olympic and World Championships winner Fabian Cancellara, TUDOR brings its founding spirit of daring to the professional cycling world, charting a course that will impact many aspects of this exciting global sport.

As part of the event experience, TUDOR highlighted its partnership with a realistic and exhilarating virtual cycling experience, where participants had the opportunity to pedal along TUDOR’s virtual route, the TUDOR Time Trial Challenge Crans Montana, complete with realistic scenery, varied terrain and captivating challenges.

For 2023, the brand paved the way toward the future by paying homage to its past. The new addition to the Black Bay line, the Black Bay 54, is a purely modern expression of the brand’s first-ever dive watch that was launched in 1954.

Expanding on the existing Black Bay line, TUDOR presents a new Black Bay with a burgundy bezel that features the latest technical and aesthetic evolution, as well as new versions of the Black Bay 31/36/39/41 in steel with a fixed bezel. A new, whimsical dial in opaline joins the Black Bay GMT line to match the distinctive burgundy and blue bezel and is also equipped with a steadfast Manufacture Calibre.

Meanwhile, the TUDOR Royal sees two more dial variants joining the range: Chocolate brown and Salmon. Watch enthusiasts were eager to get up close and personal with the newly released watches, to feel the weight of precision engineering, and appreciate the fine details that make TUDOR watches truly exceptional.

Celebrating another important milestone for TUDOR at the event was the official inauguration of the TUDOR Manufacture in March, during the highly anticipated Watches and Wonders. The TUDOR Manufacture represents the dawn of a new era for the brand where the brand’s vision of creating a Manufacture that puts humans at the center of the watchmaking process while harnessing the power of technology has finally been realized.
