Smart Fertility Clinic expands as it opens branch in Evasari

S

mart Fertility Clinic officially opened a new branch at Primaya Evasari Hospital in Central Jakarta on Thursday. The new facility is the program’s third branch, after Primaya IVF Makassar and Smart Fertility Clinic North Bekasi. Smart Fertility Clinic is a subsidiary of Primaya Hospital Group.

According to the Director of PT. Anugerah Bangsa Indonesia, Ade Gustian Yuwono, Smart Fertility Clinic Evasari is one of the most complete fertility clinics, presenting the latest facilities and technology. Like the clinic, PT Anugerah Bangsa Indonesia is a subsidiary of the Primaya Hospital Group that specifically handles Primaya IVF.

"With the most complete fertility services and equipped with the latest technology along with a team of doctors who are experts in the field of fertility, we aim to be able to serve more people who need IVF services throughout Indonesia, but at very affordable prices," Ade said.

With the help of a Time-Lapse Incubator, the new clinic offers many procedures, including intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection (IMSI), modern chromosome analyzation with PGTA/PGT-M method, ERA/MIRA for optimal embryo transfer and embryo-sperm-oocyte preservation.

This year, three flagship category clinics and several smaller fertility clinics have been established in various regions in Indonesia, including Central Java, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and North Sumatra, based on the increasing rate of couples who need fertility treatments.

In Jakarta, Ade revealed that the need for fertility and IVF programs is directly proportional to the population of the city. Based on an infertility rate of 11 to 12 percent for couples within their childbearing years, Smart Fertility Clinic Evasari is optimistic that it can serve more than 1500 patients. Their IVF program has a targeted success rate of above 50 percent.

“Many things differentiate our fertility clinic from other IVF clinics. Apart from the latest technology, our service program is also very holistic, not only limited to IVF, but fertility problems in general up to the time of entering the menopausal period. The solutions offered by our clinic are very diverse and are tailored to the needs of the patients, as each patient will be accompanied by a Smart Fertility Clinic Ambassador who escorts them while participating in the fertility program,” Ade added. He further continued that the price remains affordable in order to help more Indonesian families.

Indonesian Fertility and IVF expert Prof. Dr. dr. Budi Wiweko, Sp.OG(K), MPH said that factors that affect fertility can come from a woman or a man. For women, menstrual disorders, myoma, cysts, and oviduct obstruction can lead to fertility problems, while for men, sperm abnormalities and sperm expenditure disorders can cause problems. Prof. Dr. Budi is also a founder of Smart IVF.

"IVF, or in vitro fertilization, is the most effective method of artificial reproduction. This method is increasingly popular in Indonesia, as evidenced by the high number of IVF procedures carried out in 2022, which reached more than 14,000," he said.

The CEO of Primaya Hospital Group, Leona A. Karnali, said that the presence of the clinic in several cities is in line with the company’s commitment to growth and to meet the needs of the Indonesian people.

“In addition to providing facilities with advanced technology, we are also supported by professional and experienced doctors and medical personnel. It is our great hope that Smart Fertility Clinic can provide trusted fertility solutions for the community, especially married couples in Indonesia. We are confident that we can compete with other IVF facilities, including IVF facilities abroad, and are committed to continuously improving service quality and good clinical outcomes," Leona concluded.
