Pertamina Patra Niaga increases Solar, LPG supplies for Idul Adha 2024

head of Idul Adha 2024, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga closely monitored the public’s need for gasoline and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The company also found an increase in demand for biodiesel and 3-kilogram canisters of LPG.
Corporate secretary Irto Ginting said Pertamina Patra Niaga responded to the surge in demand by boosting its supply to LPG distributors.
"An additional 11.4 million cylinders of 3 kg LPG have been prepared, with distribution carried out gradually since last week and continuing through the Idul Adha period. Yesterday's distribution of [diesel fuel brand] Solar also reached 5 percent above normal," he said.
Irto said the measure was carried out in response to the anticipated rise in public demand for 3 kg LPG and gasoline during the Idul Adha long holiday weekend.
By the end of May, Pertamina Patra Niaga had distributed were 3.37 million metric tons of 3 kg LPG, 6.9 million kiloliters (kL) of Biosolar and 12.53 million kL of Pertalite.
In addition to ensuring the availability of subsidized gasoline and LPG, Pertamina Patra Niaga guaranteed the availability of nonsubsidized energy products such as the Pertamax and Dex series as well as Bright Gas at all Pertamina outlets and distribution partners.
Fadjar Djoko Santos, Vice President Corporate Communications at PT Pertamina (Persero), emphasized the energy giant’s commitment to meeting consumers’ fuel and LPG needs, including over Idul Adha 1445 H.
"The availability and distribution of energy will help people enjoy long weekends and holidays with their families," said Fadjar.
