he government is set to gradually roll out the limited release of three initial products developed by INA Digital. The first phase of the limited release (Alpha), scheduled for the fourth week of September 2024, will introduce INA Ku, INA Gov and INA Pas applications, marking a new era in the digital transformation of government services.
“This limited release represents a new approach to applications development in the government, where we are shifting our focus from the products’ launch to ensuring the readiness of the products for use,” said Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas, after attending a limited cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace on Tuesday.
INA Gov, or the Government Administration Portal, will eventually enable the interoperability of civil servant services, covering aspects such as civil servant profiles, performance targets, learning platforms and services related to promotions, transfers and dismissals. Meanwhile, INA Pas, or the Integrated Digital Identity, will serve as the backbone of systems and applications integration.
“INA Ku, or the Public Service Portal, will enable the interoperability of various services, including education, health care, social services, civil administration and the BPJS,” Anas explained.
Anas mentioned that the first phase of the limited release (Alpha) will involve 10,000 civil servants on INA Gov, and 40,000 users on INA Ku. This phase will introduce basic features to a limited group of users to gather feedback and conduct initial identification.
The second phase of the limited release (Beta) will expand to involve 138 government agencies on INA Gov and more than 40,000 users on INA Ku. This phase will release broader features to a limited number of external users to minimize obstacles and refine features.
“At the final stage, a full release will be conducted for all users, with the process being open to the public. The version released will be more stable, with features continually expanded according to needs,” he added.
Anas urged all ministries and agencies to support the implementation of the first phase of the limited release. This support includes preparing the integration of digital services within their respective institutions to ensure they are connected to the Public Service Portal and the Government Administration Portal.
